Saints, Sinners, Soles & Spa
....So called because this particular red letter day offers the dual pleasures of eating delicious food and wine, with the benefits of gentle exercise to assuage your guilt, an afternoon guided walk around Buxton with its classical architecture and spectacular Country Park, ending the day by tapping into the luxuriating delights of the wonderful Dome Spa with an 'Evening Bliss' experience.
The fun begins with coffee or tea and biscuits in one of the cosy lounges at the Historical Old Hall Hotel in Buxton. We are then taken on a private tour of this fascinating 500 year old building, and given glimpses into the rooms once graced by the fated Mary Queen of Scots.
Before lunch there will be a Pilates Class led by fully qualified and experienced Body Control Pilates Instructor, Rosalind Hoyes. Classes will be multi-level structured and tailored to everyone's specific needs.
Lunch will be a three course meal served in one of the Hotel's sumptuous dining rooms, and accompanied by your choice of wine.
To walk off the feast, Sally Mosley, our expert Peak District guide, will lead you first on a hidden-gems tour of Buxton, and then up into the surrounding hills, for a breath of fresh air and a chance to view Buxton and the Peaks from Solomon's Temple. You will be shown little known curiosities, such as the lime-burners hovel, tucked into the hillside and a beautifully-preserved time-warp shop.
We finish the day the best way we know how-with a deeply relaxing dip in the hydrotherapy pool, followed by a luxurious treatment of your choice.
As an extra reward everyone Indulging in our Saints and Sinners day will be given a goody bag of Peak District products to take home.
The Indulgence Day cost including all refreshments, three course lunch, Pilates Class, and Guided Walk is just £95 per person. This is based on a minimum for 4 people in a group.
Any Spa treatment is extra and payable on the day to the Dome.
