Just a line to say we are all returned home safely and enjoyed the day we spent with you. Many thanks, everyone had a brilliant time, I will certainly be recommending you to any one travelling to the Peak district.

Dear Sally,
Just to say how much we enjoyed walking with you last Saturday. Your knowledge of the area made the day so much more interesting & your presence was delightful. It made our family get-together much more special.

Hello
Sally,
Thank you very much for a most enjoyable walk
yesterday, with a good train ride to start and many
interesting snippets en-route. Julie and I would
certainly like to join one of your other walks in
the future so as you offered we would like to be
added to your newsletter list please. We will
gladly pass on the leaflets you gave us to others;
it is a pleasure to meet someone who is so keen to
provide customer satisfaction. We wish you continued
success.
Regards,
David Graham

Dear Sally,
Now that I'm over jet lag and have my life back in order, I want to send special thanks for the wonderful day you gave us in Derbyshire. I think we all agreed that it was so beautiful, meaningful and the highlight of our trip to the UK. You were an excellent guide, and the pace you set was perfect. It was also very nice meeting Pat and soaking up her knowledge of Padley Chapel. Thanks, too, for the use of your walking stick; it really helped and the next day we got one (collapsible) for me. It made the rest of the walking easier.
We were all impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of all the English people we met, but I feel that we made a real friend in you. If you should ever want to make a trip to the U.S./Michigan you will have places to stay and guides! Meanwhile, know that I will never forget our trip to Grindleford and Hathersage, and, if the fates allow, would love to return someday.
With love and every good wish,
Sally Padley (August 2011)
Hi Sally!
I have been meaning to email you ever since we got
back, but one thing or another seems to keep me from
it..... In any event, I just wanted to say again
what a wonderful day we had with you. We all
decided that our day in Derbyshire was the best day
we had in England, and it was due to you and the
wonderful people that you introduced us to and the
fantastic day that you planned for us. We just
can't thank you enough - it was spectacular! We
feel as if we went home just a bit and will forever
carry with us a little bit of the beautiful Peak
District.
With warmest regards -

Hi Sally
I just wanted to say a big thank you for a superb day yesterday at Ecton Mine, despite the nasty weather.
Everything about the day was brilliant, Bob made the mine tour really interesting and informative, your little snippets about all the local focal points are always good and your lunch was delicious (the soup just right for the rainy day we had).
We also got home in time for Stu to watch his F1, which was also rained off for two hours.
Thanks again and hope to see you again soon.

Sally,
On our way home from Bretton today we went via the bridge in Lathkill Dale we were so disappointed we looked over the wall and the pudding fairy had not been,So it looks like I will have to stop believing in them.Thats fairies not puddings.
We hope you enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed yours. What a lucky lady to have all that beauty on your doorstep and of course the privilege of meeting people like us.(reach for the sick bag)
Sally thanks so much for a lovely day.Our B&B at Bretton was very posh but they let us stay the night any way.We had a nice meal at the Barrel.
Called at the butchers at Stoney Middleton for a pork pie without the mud after a walk Great Hucklow-Grindon-Foolow circular.
Take care Duck hope to see you again soon.

Hi Sally,
Just wanted to say a big 'thank you' for a really lovely walk last Sunday, me and Nigel both really enjoyed it and what a change it made for us not to be busy D I Y ing and gardening etc! You're a born natural for this work, I hope it continues to be a success for you. Who needs an office job when you can do this??!! It's a credit to you that some people are coming such distances to join your walks, your enthusiasm and knowledge shine through and you immediately put everyone at ease. Well done. I/we would love to join you again sometime if we can manage it, so I'll be keeping an eye on your newsletters.
'Bye for now. Have a lovely Easter/Royal Wedding/Bank Hols

A Magical Day in the Peak District
Sally, our wonderful Peak District guide, yet again pulled out all the stops to make sure the Christmas Walk in the Longnor area was a magical success on Saturday.
As well as enjoying a six mile walk around the surrounding area, over lunch at the village pub, the Cheshire Cheese, everyone was treated to a magic show by landlord Chris. The entertainment didn’t stop there as there was also a live folk band playing in the pub and there was a Christmas Market in the village.
Sally even put her best baking foot forward on Friday evening and produced some homemade mince-pies for everyone to enjoy, complete with a little MM dusting.
One guest commented on the day, “Yet again Sally provided us with a very enjoyable and informative walk in the Peak District on Saturday. She really is an excellent guide and I am really looking forward to her ‘chocolate walk’ in March. I am so pleased it didn’t get cancelled due to the weather as it was a great day out”.
We love Sally, as she always looks after our members brilliantly and she’s establishing a real following now. So, if you’re ever tempted by one of her walks, then I’d suggest booking quickly to make sure you get a place.
Take care
